The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano Receives 2014 Press Ganey Beacon of Excellence AwardSM and Guardian of Excellence AwardSM for Patient Experience
PLANO, Texas December 10, 2014 — The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano proudly announces the hospital has been named a 2014 Beacon of Excellence AwardSM and Guardian of Excellence AwardSM winner by Press Ganey Associates, Inc. Press Ganey is the nation's leading health care performance improvement company and partners with more than 11,000 health care facilities, including more than half of all U.S. hospitals, to improve the patient experience.
The Beacon of Excellence Award is presented annually to 45 organizations, representing the nation's three top-performing health care facilities by category that have achieved and consistently maintained high levels of excellence in the patient experience.
The Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award is a nationally-recognized symbol of achievement in health care. Presented annually, the award honors clients who consistently sustained performance in the top 5 percent of all Press Ganey clients for each reporting period during the course of one year.
