​The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano provides a comprehensive range of outpatient cardiology diagnostic, treatment, and management services through its Center for Advanced Cardiovascular Care (CACC), with locations in Plano, Denton, and McKinney. Owned and operated by The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano, the CACC offers multidisciplinary clinic-based solutions when you need outpatient cardiology evaluation, treatment, diagnostic imaging services, educational consults and more for complex and/or chronic vascular and heart conditions.

The CACC offers you and your referring physician safe, compassionate, quality care for even the most complex cardiovascular conditions, including consultations for:

  • Heart rhythm problems (arrhythmias), such as atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter
  • Heart valve problems, such as mitral valve regurgitation, aortic stenosis, mitral stenosis, aortic insufficiency, tricuspid valve disease, aortic aneurysm, aortic dissection
  • Heart failure
  • Thoracic aortic disease, such as thoracic aortic aneurysms, thoracoabdominal aneurysms, acute Type A and B dissections, penetrating aortic ulcers, intramural hematoma
  • Pulmonary hypertension
  • Inherited heart disorders, such as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy; familial dilated cardiomyopathy; arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia (ARVD); Long QT syndrome, Short QT syndrome; Brugada syndrome; Marfan Syndrome​; Loeys/Dietz Syndrome; Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm Syndrome
  • Vascular disease and complex wound care, including diabetic foot treatment

When you visit the CACC, you are evaluated by a multidisciplinary team of leading heart and vascular experts that may include interventional cardiologists, general cardiologists, vascular specialists, interventional radiologists and cardiothoracic surgeons on the medical staff, as well as specially trained cardiovascular nurses and nurse practitioners, and diagnostic imaging technologists. The physicians on the medical staff of the CACC also collaborate with your personal physician, who remains in primary control of your care and is kept abreast of your progress.

Outpatient cardiology procedures that involve invasive interventions are performed at The Heart Hospital. These types of procedures include:

  • Heart catheterization procedures, such as angioplasty and stenting

Thoracic Aortic Emergent Patient Transfer | For patients presenting with acute aortic dissections and other thoracic aortic emergencies, call our Patient Transfer Center at 214.820.6444 from anywhere across the DFW Metroplex and beyond.

The team of surgeons on our medical staff, along with our nursing staff, will go into immediate action to transport the patient to either The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano or Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas. Read more »
