Living for Zachary Screening

The "Living for Zachary Screening" is a special screening program for youth ages 12-22 that can help detect heart abnormalities that can lead to Sudden Cardiac Arrest.


This noninvasive screening package includes an electrocardiogram and an echocardiogram.

Screening package price: $100*

The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano is proud to sponsor "Living for Zachary," a non-profit organization that is committed to spreading awareness of Sudden Cardiac Arrest, a heart condition that proved fatal in April 2009 for 16-year-old Zachary Schrah of Plano.

What Is Sudden Cardiac Arrest?

Sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) is a condition in which the heart suddenly and unexpectedly stops beating. When this happens, blood stops flowing to the brain and other vital organs.
