As part of our advanced imaging services, we offer cardiac calcium scoring. Cardiac calcium scoring is a non-invasive screening or test that helps physicians determine your risk for heart disease. Cardiac calcium scoring uses advanced computed tomography (CT) technology to check for the buildup of plaque or calcium in your coronary arteries. The test takes only minutes, and your physician will share the results with you as well as discuss next steps. No referral is necessary, and insurance does not cover the $79 cost.
