Institutes for Cardiovascular Innovation

In its pursuit of medical excellence, THE HEART HOSPITAL Baylor Plano has created the Institutes for Cardiovascular Innovation, a portfolio of specialized entities within the hospital that is dedicated to clinical care, research and education. Led by medical directors, these Institutes represent our hospital's unwavering commitment to delivering safe, quality, compassionate care as well as compelling outcomes.

The mission of the Institutes for Cardiovascular Innovation is to provide the highest quality comprehensive heart and vascular care and to promote cutting-edge medical research and innovative education programs that benefit the health of our community.

The Institutes for Cardiovascular Innovation includes: Women's Cardiovascular Institute, Heart Rhythm Institute, Peripheral Vascular Institute, Structural Heart and Valve Institute, and Clinical Research Institute.

The medical directors work collaboratively with the director of Cardiovascular Innovation to coordinate and communicate advancements in the areas of research, education, marketing, and quality outcomes as they relate to each specific Institute.
