Meet Your Care Team
At The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano, we know that a large part of your experience with us depends on your interaction with our staff. A highly skilled team of professionals is focused on providing you with five-star service, while making your stay here as comfortable as possible.
Wellness means a number of things, many of which are not purely medical. That's why we have social workers on staff to help you and your family navigate emotional, organizational, or financial issues that may arise. Social workers at The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano serve as patient advocates, making sure your needs are being met, educating families, and providing support related to post-hospital care. They are available to lend a helping hand and may be contacted through your nurse or the Social Work office.
Our registered dietitians provide for your nutritional needs. They also work with you and your family to start planning a healthier lifestyle. Meals are always fresh and cooked to order. They arrive within 45 minutes on fine china, delivered by a tuxedo-attired server. If you have questions about your menu, or to learn more about healthy eating or special diet options, please ask your nurse to contact one of our registered dietitians.
We recognize spiritual needs as an important part of health, well-being, and recovery; for this reason, chaplain service is available to you and your visitors 24 hours a day. Our Chapel is located on the first floor. Beautiful and serene, it is a place for quiet reflection and prayer. Our chaplain holds a weekly worship service on Wednesdays at noon, as well as special events and seminars throughout the year. Your priest, minister, rabbi, or other spiritual official is always welcome to visit with you and your family at the hospital.
Access Services can help you interpret financial policies and billing procedures from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weekdays. A financial counselor in Admitting/Registration is available to discuss financial arrangements.
Your suite is cleaned daily by the Environmental Services staff. Sheets are changed daily. If you would like additional cleaning services or if you have a compliment or concern you would like to share, please don't hesitate to speak with your nurse or contact Environmental Services.
Baylor Health Care System volunteers offer hours of service to make sure your experience with us is a quality experience. Volunteers can be identified by badges displaying The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano logo. For more information, please call Volunteer/Guest Services at (469) 814-2035.
